A client had spent ~$250k to build a bespoke data lake and reporting stack consolidating financial and operational data from three country ERPs, costing ~$2,000+/month to run. Foundry replaced the entire system with a Power BI-based reporting layer. Same data sources, cleaner reporting, less than 1/10th the build cost. Monthly running costs dropped to Power BI licenses only. The answer wasn't more AI. It was using what they already had, better.
